Rushing expectant mothers in trouble to the hospital at night over rough jungle roads with mud splashing on the car's windshield, treating Mayas with first aid when the hospital is over forty miles away, watching the health of a whole Mayan village change because you were there to teach them--these are just some of the memories our team members take back home with them. Knowing they made a difference in alleviating pain, helping to build sanitary housing, and encouraging fitness through playing sports with the youth are not the only rewards of selfless giving. All that is overshadowed once two big, brown eyes look up into your eyes, and want to know about Jesus...just because of how your lived your life.

The sun-drenched line of patients inched forward like a colorful rope of Belizean faces to the beckoning door of the CAOM clinic. Inside, volunteer nurses and doctors worked in unison to bring hope to those seeking treatment. Skillfully, two nurses disinfected and sutchered the lacerated wound of a small child as a doctor checked the irregular pulse of a laborer. It is all part of doing God's will, one patient at a time!

God's healing hand works through the willing hearts of our medical volunteers. We may not change the world overnight, but through the sharing of medical skills and talents, we make a difference. Please join us for this worthy cause!
