C. A. Outreach Ministries, Inc.
HISTORY
Outreach Ministries, later incorporated as C.A. Outreach Ministries, began in 1975 with God’s call to Christian businessman John Collier, through a miraculous deliverance from an otherwise fatal airplane crash in Belize, Central America (see his book Two Minutes to Live ). John made a total life commitment to God, giving Him a blank check on the rest of his life. As a result, John moved to Belize, Central America on faith with $100 a month support to reach Belizeans for the Lord and work with groups and team ministries from various parts of the world.
God has led John to help plant churches around Belize, and to work in the southern jungles with the Maya, Kechi, and Garifunas. Doors were opened in the early 1990s for a ministry outside Belize City at the Embassy Mission House and Hotel, which now encompasses team ministry, a Christian library with several branches, Christian trade schools, Bible studies, Christian musical and dramatic presentations, and a program for high school and college credit in international studies.
Believing the Lord called him to work specifically with mission teams coming to Belize, John has sought to help individuals and groups find specific areas where they would like to minister through C.A. Outreach Ministries, Inc.; such as, evangelism, teaching, conferences, construction, medicine, agriculture, sports, music and drama, libraries, Vacation Bible Schools, orphanages, and local schools. CAOM also operates trade schools in which local people can learn skills to make a living, such as sewing, baking, construction, cabinet making, and agriculture.
C.A. Outreach Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit, US tax-exempt Christian organization and a registered Belizean NGO (National Government Organization).

WHAT WE BELIEVE
-
We believe the sixty-six books of the Bible to be the infallible, written Word of God, verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, inerrant in the original manuscripts, and the only and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
-
We believe in the unity of the Godhead, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and became incarnate through the virgin birth, and that He unites forever in His Person perfect deity and true humanity.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, that He was crucified as the substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of men, that He rose bodily from the dead, that He ascended into heaven where He is now exalted at the right hand of the Father, and where He intercedes for the believer.
-
We believe that man was originally and directly created in the image of God, and that through disobedience he fell. Consequently, all men were brought under divine condemnation and are born sinners, unable to please God in their natural state.
-
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in the conviction and regeneration of the sinner. We believe in His indwelling presence and ministry in the believer to glorify Christ.
-
We believe that salvation is wholly a work of God's grace, and that upon the sinner's repentance and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ his sins are forgiven and divine righteousness is imputed to him.
-
We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, consists only of those who are born again, having been baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit at the time of regeneration.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly and bodily to receive His own and to establish His kingdom, and to rule in righteousness and peace.
-
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the believer to eternal life and conscious fellowship with God. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the unbeliever to conscious separation from God in eternal punishment.
-
We believe that Christ commissioned the Church to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world to all men, and to make disciples in every nation.
